Vardenyats Pass Closed: Current Situation on Roads in Armenia
As of January 5 at 19:40, the Vardenyats Pass is closed only for vehicles with trailers. This information has been reported by the Road Department Foundation.
Other vehicles can pass through. There are areas of black ice on the roads in the regions of Aparan, Aragatsotn, Spitak, Tumanyan, Tashir, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Vayk, Sisian, Goris, Ashotq, Amasya, and Vardenis.
Interstate and republican roads are open. Road construction workers are conducting cleaning and salt-sand treatment on the roads.
