National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan has submitted a report to law enforcement regarding offensive statements and threats made against him during the 'Imnemnimi' podcast. This was reported by the spokesman for the Speaker of the National Assembly, emphasizing that Simonyan demands a legal assessment of the published content.
According to him, the words broadcast exceed the limits of free expression and contain formulations that could endanger the official's honor and dignity, as well as the sense of safety. The office of the Speaker of the National Assembly expects law enforcement to initiate the appropriate processes to clarify and assess the grounds and circumstances for accountability.
It is worth noting that earlier it was reported that masked individuals entered the homes of Narek Samsonyan and Vazgen Saghatelyan. Later, lawyer Rubel Melikyan stated that 'Narek Samsonyan was arrested and taken for investigation.'
