Pashinyan Thanks Aliyev
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. “Yesterday, Ilham Aliyev announced that Azerbaijan is lifting restrictions on the transit of cargo through its territory to Armenia. This is an extremely important statement, and I want to thank the President of Azerbaijan for this step,” said Pashinyan.
He also addressed the Presidents of Kazakhstan and the Prime Minister of Georgia. “I would also like to thank the President of Kazakhstan and the Prime Minister of Georgia for their role in reaching that agreement,” added the Prime Minister.
Pashinyan noted that they are prepared not only politically but also technically to ensure the transit of trucks from Turkey to Azerbaijan and vice versa via the Martakert-Yeghegnadzor-Sisian-Goris route starting today.
