Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Reports Damage to Embassy Building in Ukraine Due to Russian Strike
The capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, was subjected to missile and drone attacks around 3 AM on August 28. As a result of an explosion from one of the missiles near the Azerbaijani embassy in Ukraine, the building sustained damage. This was announced by Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Aykhan Hacizada, as reported by Azerbaijani media.
It has been reported that several windows were shattered due to the explosion, and cracks have appeared on the roof of the consular section of the building.
"There are no casualties among the embassy staff. Our embassy continues to operate," Hacizada stated.
