Turkey’s Foreign Ministry Responds to Netanyahu's Recognition of the Armenian Genocide
Netanyahu's statement regarding the events of 1915 is an attempt to exploit the tragedies of the past for political purposes. This was stated in a declaration issued by Turkey's Foreign Ministry.
“Netanyahu, who is being judged for his role in the genocide against the Palestinian people, is trying to conceal the crimes committed by him and his government. We condemn and reject this statement, which is incompatible with historical and legal facts,” the declaration read.
It is worth noting that earlier, we reported that Netanyahu announced his recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
