Microbiological Deviations at Marila LLC: Batch Sales Prohibited and Market Recall Ordered
Inspectors from the Food Safety Inspectorate’s Center in Yerevan conducted an inspection at the dairy production plant of Marila LLC located in Kapan, Syunik region. During the inspection, samples of various products were taken and sent for laboratory analysis.
The results of the laboratory examination revealed that a sample of the product “Sour Cream” (produced on 14.08.2025) did not meet the standards established by the Eurasian Economic Union's technical regulations due to the presence of enterobacteria.
The operation of the specific product line has been halted until the identified violations are rectified. A directive has been issued to prohibit the sale of affected batches, to recall them from the market, and to destroy or withdraw them as necessary. It has been ordered that the product comply with the established standards.
