Mayor Discusses Minors Lost Near Armenian-Azerbaijani Border
The former mayor of Aravus, Argam Hovsepyan, informed Aysor.am that the young individuals were lost at night, likely having followed a horse.
According to Hovsepyan, some pastures in that area are located just a few meters from Azerbaijani positions, which significantly increases the risk of such incidents.
The head of the Aravus village in the Syunik region, Arthur Jhangiryan, found it difficult to explain why the youths had gone there at night. "The border is close, they went at night. The young people are not from the same family," he said.
