Hatertk Village Head Released: Human Rights Defender
Considering the wide public response and the inquiries received at the Human Rights Defender's office, we inform you that a report was received regarding the arrest of Hatertk village head Vardan Grigoryan, who was allegedly left alone in a vehicle with his young children.
At the instruction of the defender, Anahit Manasyan, the details of the case were promptly clarified through oral procedures with the relevant state authorities. As a result, it has been established that Vardan Grigoryan has been released.
In order to clarify the circumstances of the incident, a written explanation will also be requested from the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia.
