Earthquake in Iran Felt in Syunik
An earthquake occurred in Iran, 33 kilometers northeast of the city of Tabriz. Today, at 06:27 local time (02:27 GMT), the seismic monitoring network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia registered an earthquake at a depth of 10 kilometers with a magnitude of 4.6 at geographical coordinates of 38.36°N and 46.41°E, 33 kilometers northeast of Tabriz.
The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral zone reached 6 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt in several communities of the Syunik region with an intensity of 2-3.
