New footage of police violence has emerged. A video circulating online shows how a red beret officer pushes a young man by grabbing his throat.
Today, 98 individuals participating in protests against the government were taken to police stations across various streets in Yerevan.
The Public Relations and Information Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia reports that these 98 protesters were brought into custody for an act classified under Article 182 of the Administrative Offenses Code (Failure to comply with a lawful request of a military police officer or police officer).
