Kremlin Comments on Gasoline Export Restrictions
The Russian government has temporarily banned gasoline exports to regulate the fuel market, announced presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov. The Kremlin spokesperson stated that the measures taken by the government are timely and necessary.
“How long will they last, and how much time is needed to ensure stability in the market is unclear,” Peskov added.
On the previous day, the Russian government imposed a temporary ban on gasoline and diesel fuel exports to stabilize the domestic market.
