National Security Service Issues Statement
The National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia has issued a statement urging citizens not to engage in provocative actions and to exhibit lawful behavior.
The statement reads: “The National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia informs that there are genuine threats regarding the organization and implementation of mass disturbances in the Republic of Armenia. Therefore, we urge citizens not to succumb to potential provocations, to demonstrate a high sense of civic responsibility, and to refrain from any intolerable conduct that incites hatred or animosity within society, calls for violence in public speeches, or expressions that may be perceived as violent, which can create real preconditions for undermining the internal security of the country or other criminal manifestations.”
The National Security Service will take legal measures to maintain the constitutional order, protect the rights and legal interests of the state and citizens, neutralizing any actions aimed at destabilizing the internal security of the Republic of Armenia.
We call on our citizens not to engage in provocative actions, to exhibit strictly lawful behavior, and not to heed calls and appeals that may destabilize the internal security of the country. Maintain vigilance and prevent violations of the rule of law.”
