France Engages in Negotiations with Niger's Army
France has begun a negotiation process with Niger's army regarding the withdrawal of some of the soldiers stationed in the African country. This information comes from Le Monde, citing its own sources.
The publication states that negotiations are already underway regarding the withdrawal of specific units of the French military.
Currently, there are approximately 1,500 French troops in Niger. It is still unclear how many of them will leave Niger and within what timeframe.
