We Will Break the Windows If the Minister of Defense Does Not Receive Us: Parent of Missing Person

Today at 17:00, a meeting is scheduled at the Ministry of Defense with Minister Suren Papikyan and the parents of missing soldiers from the Echmiadzin 'Chemists' military unit. This was reported to Sputnik Armenia by the parent of a missing person, Karine Manavazyan.

She mentioned that they left the Ministry of Defense late last night after being told by a colonel that the minister would meet with them tomorrow.

“We do not have high hopes that the meeting will take place, but we have declared that if the minister does not receive us, we will break the windows of the building,” she said.

It should be noted that on August 30, the parents were invited to a meeting with the Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan; however, the minister did not receive them. Instead, Deputy Minister Arman Sargsyan met with the relatives of the missing individuals. They spoke for about two hours, but the officials' responses did not satisfy the participants of the meeting.
