A severe storm has hit the city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Videos shared on social media depict how individuals struggle to stay on their feet due to the powerful winds.

Footage taken in Mecca shows people attempting to shield themselves from the ferocious elements. Some clips also reveal carts and other items being swept down the streets by the gale. Broken barriers can also be seen.

"The wind is pushing people and overturning metal structures. There are no reports of casualties or injuries," states Telegram channels.
