A newborn died at the Grigor Narekatsi Medical Center in Nor Arech on July 5. The parents of the girl have doubts that the deceased child is not theirs.

The father, Andranik Margaryan, stated in a conversation with ArmLur.am that he is waiting for a clear response from the doctors regarding why they allegedly tried to hide the death of the newborn. He emphasizes the question of why the body of his daughter was not shown to him and why it was removed from the hospital.

“The overseeing doctor said here yesterday that the birthing mother underwent her last examination at the Nor Arech polyclinic on July 4. Everything was fine; they heard the baby's heartbeat, and it was also heard here; everything was fine,” Margaryan told ArmLur.am.

The family has turned to law enforcement regarding the death of the newborn girl.
