Two Investigators Dismissed from Their Positions by Kyaramyan's Order
The Investigative Committee of Armenia continues its persistent fight against instances of negligence and unprofessional conduct in fulfilling functional obligations within the system, as well as against serious disciplinary violations.
Chairman of the Investigative Committee, ArghishTi Kyaramyan, has submitted a request to the Disciplinary Commission of the Investigative Committee to impose a disciplinary sanction of 'dismissal from office' on two officials—investigators—occupying autonomous positions in two territorial subdivisions of the Investigative Committee.
The investigation has substantiated that one of them did not carry out the necessary investigative and procedural actions for an extended period in a criminal case without lawful purpose, while the other official regularly failed to appear at work without a justifiable reason.
Considering the nature and severity of the violations committed by these officials, the Disciplinary Commission has approved the requests. Consequently, by the order of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, the two individuals mentioned have been dismissed from their positions.
