Lukashenko: 'There Are No Color Revolutions Without Reasons in a Country'
Against the backdrop of events unfolding in Russia, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has ordered the military to be put on full combat readiness. This was reported by the Moscow 24 Telegram channel.
“I will not hide, it was painful to watch the events taking place in the south of Russia. Many of our citizens took it to heart. Because the homeland is one,” Lukashenko said in response to questions from journalists.
“We have a mission to save the world conquered by the lives of millions of heroes—our fathers and grandfathers. This only means one thing: we must be stronger than the threat that again hangs over our land like a shadow,” he added.
Lukashenko also stated that “there are no color revolutions if there are no reasons for them in the country.”
