Crimea is Part of the Russian Federation, Says Turkish Presidential Candidate

The leader of the Turkish "Homeland" party and presidential candidate, Doğu Perinçek, has declared that Crimea is part of the Russian Federation. He stated, "The regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, as well as Zaporizhzhia and Kherson are also part of Russia. These facts must be officially accepted and recognized," Perinçek said.

It is worth noting that in 2007, Perinçek was convicted by a Swiss court for denying the Armenian Genocide, referring to it as an "international lie."
