The 11th Sanctions Package Against Russia Will Focus on Combating Evasion, EU Says
The next, 11th sanctions package from the European Union against Russia will be aimed at combating the evasion of the existing restrictive measures imposed on Moscow. This was announced by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
"The 11th sanctions package will primarily be directed at fighting the circumvention of the restrictions and closing loopholes," she stated.
No timeline has been provided for the introduction of the new sanctions package. It is worth noting that one month ago, the EU approved the 10th sanctions package against Russia.
