During a gala evening dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day at the Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army, Russian Defense Minister and Army General Sergey Shoigu recalled the goals that Western countries have set against Russia. Information is provided by rg.ru.
“Today we are once again facing a serious danger. Ukraine, using the collective West, seeks to fragment Russia and deprive it of independence. These attempts are doomed to failure,” said the minister.
He thanked everyone currently on the front lines, who are solving difficult tasks to ensure combat operations while risking their lives, fulfilling their military duty. Shoigu expressed special words of gratitude to the officers, as well as the personnel of military medical units and organizations.
