The West is Trying to Create an Artificial Default for Russia, Peskov
The West is attempting to create an artificial default for Russia, meaning an inability to pay debts, but there are absolutely no grounds for this, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary for Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with journalists.
“The West is indeed pushing Russia towards default, but it should be emphasized that this is an artificial default,” Peskov stated.
