West Unreservedly Recognizes 'Azov' as Neo-Nazi, Lavrov States
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in an interview with Italian Mediaset television, recalled that the West has unreservedly recognized the Ukrainian 'Azov' regiment as neo-Nazi, according to RT.
“As for 'Azov', materials are now being published that confirm that Americans, and especially Canadians, have played a leading role in the training of extreme radical, openly neo-Nazi units in Ukraine. The aim for all these years was to have neo-Nazis join the regular armed forces of Ukraine,” said the minister.
Thus, in every unit, the Azov fighters would play a “leading role,” he added.
“I have read such materials in the Western press. The fact that 'Azov' is an openly neo-Nazi association was recognized unreservedly in the West until the beginning of 2022, when they seemingly began to change their position, almost on command,” Lavrov stated.
