VIDEO: We Could Have Prevented the War, Resulting in the Same Situation, Certainly Without Casualties – Prime Minister

“There was no option that would have been unacceptable for us, while Azerbaijan would say, 'Yes, this is acceptable for me.' This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the discussion of the negotiations concerning Artsakh in the National Assembly.

“Serzh Sargsyan said this from this podium. I am being asked how it happened that in 2019 you fell into the trap. Falling into the trap was when a negotiation package emerged, where Armenia was expected to hand over 7 regions to Azerbaijan. We were not in a trap; the document recorded that which Serzh Sargsyan had announced from this podium, as it was the result of his negotiations, because we had not even started negotiations in 2019.

“Today, it is asked whether we could have prevented the war. We could have prevented the war, resulting in the same situation, of course without casualties,” said Pashinyan.
