Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree for a reserve mobilization.

The decree states: “To call on Russian citizens to undergo military training in the Armed Forces of Russia, federal security bodies, and security agencies.”

According to the decree, the government and local authorities are obliged to ensure the implementation of tasks related to the mobilization.

Conscription for military service is the gathering of citizens, as defined by law, for the performance of military duties in the Armed Forces and other troops, and is an integral part of the army’s replenishment.
