Railroads to Be Recommissioned: Nikol Pashinyan After Brussels Meeting

During the trilateral meeting with European Council President Charles Michel and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, we reaffirmed the agreement on the recommissioning of the railroad with the Azerbaijani president. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Facebook page.

“Accordingly, the railroad will operate in accordance with internationally accepted border and customs regulations, based on the principle of reciprocity and under the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the countries. Armenia will gain access to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation via the railroad. We also agreed to continue our communications,” Pashinyan noted.
