Putin and Biden May Communicate Again
The presidents of Russia and the USA, Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, may communicate again before the New Year, possibly even after that. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, on the Russian First Channel.
“It depends on how closely the agendas of the two presidents coincide and what format they would prefer,” he said. Peskov added that there are no specific dates yet, and “patience is needed.”
“Indeed, yesterday there was a conversation between Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev and U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan regarding the clarification of the deadlines on key issues discussed by Putin and Biden at the Geneva summit, as well as considering the possibility of new high-level communications,” Peskov noted.
