If You Don’t Protect Us, What’s the Point of the Russian Military Base? Khalatyan on Russian Broadcast

As previously reported, during a live broadcast of the program "Solovyov Today," Armenian political commentator, journalist, and member of the "Armenia" alliance Hayk Khalatyan accused Russia of failing to fulfill its allied obligations and building relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan at Armenia's expense.

"If Russia does not protect Armenia's internationally recognized territory, then what do we need the Russian military base for? Take down the flags and leave, relocate to Abkhazia," Khalatyan stated.

In response, Russian political scientist Sergey Mikheev retorted, "If Armenia had the ability, it would have found at least one other ally in these 30 years. The reality is that the others—be it America or Europe—don’t care about you."
