We Must Be Progressive and Get Vaccinated: Vahan Kerobyan
“You know how much I have fought for the economy to operate as freely as possible, but the rate of coronavirus spread raises concerns that if there is no significant change in society and business behavior, our healthcare system may not be able to withstand the pressure from patients any longer, and we may have to resort to restrictions again.” This was stated today, September 16, during a cabinet meeting by Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, urging business owners and employees to put aside conservative approaches, be progressive, and get vaccinated.
“Being conservative in the 21st century often does more harm than good; we must be progressive and get vaccinated. Armenia is in the worst position in terms of the number of vaccinated people, and we are starting to fall into the red zone, which means economic activity may weaken, which we certainly do not need right now,” said Kerobyan.
