A Working Group Has Arrived in Syunik: Ombudsman
A working group has been sent to the Syunik province upon the instructions of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia. The group will carry out a number of fact-finding activities regarding violations of human rights committed by Azerbaijani servicemen, including those related to the police checkpoint established by Azerbaijani authorities in the area of the M2 interstate road near Goris and Vorotan.
During the visit, representatives of the Ombudsman will also visit several military units of Armenia. Investigations, individual conversations with servicemen, and other activities will take place.
