No Funds Allocated from State Budget for September 21 Events
A recent report surfaced online indicating that no funds have been allocated from the state budget for the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Armenia's Independence. According to these reports, the necessary funds for the implementation of the program have been sourced from private sponsors.
Auroranews contacted Armen Khachatryan, the head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Armenian government, to verify this information. Khachatryan confirmed the details in our conversation.
It is worth noting that earlier, information had circulated in the media and on social networks stating that $2 million had been allocated from the state budget for organizing the events.
