178 New Cases of Coronavirus Registered in Armenia
As of May 8 at 11:00 AM, 178 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 219,270. This was reported by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
The total number of tests conducted has reached 1,014,891, with 2,353 new tests performed in the last day.
Currently, 9,419 patients are being treated, a decrease of 289 in one day.
According to the latest figures, 204,578 individuals have recovered, with 457 recoveries reported in the last day.
In one day, 9 citizens died due to coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,234. The previous day, there was one recorded death where the patient tested positive for coronavirus, but the cause of death was due to another illness. The total number of such cases is 1,039.
