"The Armenian Genocide Took Place on This Land, and Justice Can Only Be Achieved on This Land" - Karo Paylan
Karo Paylan, an Armenian member of the Turkish Parliament and part of the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party, made a statement on his Twitter page regarding the 106th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
"The Armenian Genocide took place on this land, and justice can only be achieved on this land. Turkey can heal the wounds of the Armenian people. I respectfully remember the victims of the Armenian Genocide, who have been waiting for justice for 106 years," wrote Paylan.
