It Is Possible to Attempt to Reclaim Hadrut and Shushi Without War: Mikael Minasian
I assert that Armenia does not have the resources for a new war, and I claim that it is possible to attempt to bring back Shushi and Hadrut without war. This was stated by the former Ambassador of Armenia to the Holy See, Mikael Minasian, in an interview with ArmNews.
“I also insist that we should try to strengthen dignified relations with Russia and build a new form of relations, about which I wrote two years ago in my article,” he said.
Mikael Minasian emphasized that we must accept that we no longer have the Armenia that ended with Nikol Pashinyan's first day in power. “During these three years, he simply took everything from us. Either we accept this, get the right medicines, and move towards the future, or we continue to deceive ourselves and do not have a future. I am an advocate for the future; if I begin, it will be for the sake of the future, not for the past,” he stated.
When asked whether he is ready to take on the responsibility of “throwing him out the window” if Pashinyan does not hold snap elections, Minasian replied, “I had written that I would wait for my turn. I believe I have waited long enough, and I have seen that no one is able to throw that man out the window. Therefore, now I have to decide whether I want to take that on or not; if I do take it on, then rest assured, I will throw him out.”
