Minister Requests Not to Ask Which Vaccine His Mother Received

After today's government session, journalists inquired from the Minister of Health about reports that his mother was vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine, asking why that particular vaccine was chosen instead of the AstraZeneca variant, which is considered effective.

The minister requested not to disclose information containing medical confidentiality and to refrain from asking such questions.

Avanesyan also assured that officials do not receive any preferential treatment over other citizens when it comes to vaccination.
