586 New COVID-19 Cases in Armenia, 16 Deaths Reported
As of March 21 at 11:00 AM, Armenia has confirmed 586 new cases of coronavirus, with 312 citizens recovered and 16 fatalities reported. In the past day, 4,965 tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests to 804,602.
This information was provided by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia. In total, 183,713 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, of which 168,289 have recovered and 3,348 have resulted in death.
Currently, there are 11,219 patients receiving treatment for COVID-19. On the previous day, 2 deaths were recorded where the patients had contracted the virus; however, the fatalities were due to other underlying conditions. The total number of such cases stands at 857.
