US Senate Calls for Action on the Return of Armenian Prisoners of War Held in Azerbaijan
The Chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Bob Menendez, has urged the United States to take steps towards the return of Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan. This was reported by the American Armenian Advocacy Committee.
“We must help the people of Armenia and support the process of returning Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan. We need to do what the previous administration did not do,” stated Menendez.
The senator added that everything possible should be done to ensure that all prisoners of war return to their homeland.
