Body of a Man Found in the Lower Hrazdan Canal in Dast Village
Today, February 24, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 15:20, Susanna Asatryan, a community police inspector from the Vagharshapat Police Department, received information that there was a body in the canal of Dast Village.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, rescuers, with the help of local villagers, retrieved the body of a man from the Lower Hrazdan canal using a cable. Preliminary findings by the forensic expert indicate that there were no signs of violence on the body.
The investigation at the scene is being led by investigator Karen Avagyan from the Vagharshapat Police Department's investigative division. Materials are being prepared regarding the fact.
The police are taking necessary operational and investigative measures to ascertain the identity of the deceased.
