The Adversary Aimed to Launch a Rapid Attack to Apply Fire and Psychological Pressure on Personnel, Says MoD Spokesperson
On October 18, Azerbaijani armed forces launched an attack towards the south, deploying seven tanks, including one T-90 unit, accompanied by five infantry fighting vehicles.
The enemy aimed to carry out a rapid attack to exert both fire and psychological pressure on the personnel, intending to breach a critical segment of the border.
Thanks to the professional competence, high moral qualities, and excellent coordinated actions of Colonel Stepjan Gevorgyan, Colonel Stanislav Yeromyan, and anti-tank operator Private Garik Arakelyan, the attack was thwarted, forcing the adversary to retreat several kilometers. This was reported by MoD spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan.
