Turkey Has Been Keeping Its F-16s in Azerbaijan for About a Month
Turkish Air Force F-16 fighter jets conducted flights over the city of Ganja (formerly known as Ganja) in Azerbaijan on September 15. According to Razm.info, Turkey had dispatched these F-16s to Azerbaijan in early August as part of joint Turkish-Azerbaijani military exercises.
The flights were demonstrative, conducted in conjunction with the Azerbaijani Air Force.
Despite the prevailing narrative that Turkey had withdrawn its fighter jets after the conclusion of the exercises, and that other jets were flying on September 15, analysis of satellite imagery indicates that the F-16s continued to remain at Ganja Airport even after the exercises were completed.
