Monthly Salaries of Isolation Process Organizers Range from 150,000 to 350,000 AMD
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that the isolation process has been organized with the involvement of hospital directors and relevant specialists, following the remarks made by Prosperous Armenia party MP Iveta Tonoyan in the National Assembly regarding 'rumors in the air.' Volunteers have also participated in the efforts.
Regarding the claim of receiving 5 million AMD in salary, the reported figure is far from reality. The monthly salaries of the organizers of the isolation process have averaged between 150,000 to 350,000 AMD (before taxes).
It is undeniable that the healthcare system workers, doctors, and individuals involved in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic deserved higher remuneration for their efforts.
