This Year, 6,600 New Jobs Created, Average Salary Increased by 13,800 AMD
As of July 2020, there are 613,062 paid jobs in the republic, which is an increase of 6,597 jobs or 1.1 percent compared to 2019. This was announced today, September 10, by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.
"This year, the total wage fund has increased by 9.765 billion AMD, which is 8.1 percent. The average salary per person has increased by 13,841 AMD or 7.14 percent. We hope that the figures for August will be better because we had a fairly busy period of domestic tourism in August," he said.
