The Armenian Government Has Never Imposed Restrictions on Air and Land Border Crossers, Gevorgyan
The Prime Minister's spokesperson, Mane Gevorgyan, wrote on her Facebook page: “Dear citizens, particularly those wishing to travel to the RF. At today’s government meeting, it was announced that Armenia has raised the issue of establishing unified rules and conditions for the restoration of regular passenger transport within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). EEU partners have expressed their willingness to discuss this, taking into account the overall epidemiological situation. Issues related to organizing testing and citizen quarantine procedures will also be discussed. As a result of the discussions and clarifications on all these issues, it is expected that a unified set of rules for all EEU member states will be established. Once again, I want to remind you that the Armenian government has never imposed restrictions on those crossing air and land borders. The restrictions have been implemented and continue to be enforced by the receiving countries based on the epidemiological situation.”
