Coronavirus Vaccine to Be Available to Russians by Mid-August
The Gamaleya Center in Russia has already developed a coronavirus vaccine, which will be available to the Russian population by August 15. This information has been confirmed by government sources to Interfax.
At this stage, according to the agency, the vaccine documentation has been submitted to the relevant body for drug testing, which will register the vaccine sometime between August 10 and 12 after its inspections. Following this, the vaccine will also undergo checks by Roskomnadzor.
It is anticipated that after this process, the vaccine will be accessible to the public on August 15. It has already been announced that after its release, the vaccine will be used for a certain period to assess its effectiveness, which will take several months.
