309 Cases of Coronavirus Disease Confirmed in Gegharkunik Province

As of May 21, a total of 309 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Gegharkunik Province, of which 121 have recovered and 4 have resulted in death. This was announced on the Facebook page of the Governor of Gegharkunik, Gnel Sanosyan.

“Thus, we have 19 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease and 2 recoveries. Regarding the death case, we inform you that the patient was a 64-year-old male and had accompanying chronic illnesses,” stated Sanosyan.

Confirmed cases have been reported in the communities of Vardenis, Mets Masrik, Shatvan, Sotk, Noraker, Tsovinar, Tsovazard, Sevan, Ddmashen, Geghamavan, Zovaber, Martuni (city), Khachaghbyur, Areguny, Lchashen, Tsakqar, Verin Getashen, Vayser, Arpunk, Tsovak, P’k’v Masrik, Vardadzor, Zolakar, Geghamasar, Gindzak, and Chkalovka.
