Call to Avoid Going to the Airport and Creating Crowds: No Need to Welcome Arrivals
As flights from abroad land in Armenia, some citizens rush to the airport to welcome their relatives. In this context, the police have issued a statement emphasizing, “We remind you that citizens arriving from abroad are escorted by buses to quarantine locations. Therefore, there is no opportunity or need to greet family members. In order to prevent crowding and for health safety considerations, we urge you not to go to the airport.”
