Major Tactical Exercises Launched at the Baghramyan Training Ground: Ministry of Defense

On May 19, a large-scale tactical exercise titled "Preparation and Conduct of Combat Operations of the Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces in Defensive Operations" commenced at the Republic of Armenia's Baghramyan training ground. According to the Ministry of Defense's press service, the goal of the exercise is to check the capabilities of commanders, staff, and the overall personnel in bringing the unit to a high level of combat readiness, to enhance the practical skills of military personnel, and to improve field training.

In the first phase of the exercise, weapons and military equipment have been moved to concentration areas. The final phase of the three-day exercise will be accompanied by live fire. The exercise involves operational tactical missile launchers and “Smerch” multiple rocket launchers.
