Two More Deputies of the State Duma of Russia Test Positive for COVID-19
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, five deputies of the State Duma of Russia have contracted COVID-19. This was reported by the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin. The information comes from the official page of the Russian Parliament.
"We have five infected deputies. Therefore, I want everyone to... adhere to safety regulations and do everything possible to avoid illness and to prevent transmission to others," said Volodin during a session, adding that earlier one of the three infected deputies had been discharged from the hospital.
"Two deputies are in the hospital, and two are at home, considering that their test results have been positive. The latter are still at home," Volodin added.
