Price Drop Observed for Certain Consumer Goods in Artsakh
The Information Headquarters of Artsakh reports that specialists from the State Commission for Regulating Public Services and Economic Competition conducted a review on May 13, 2020, across 20 commercial entities in Stepanakert. Their findings indicated changes in the average prices of 4 product types compared to the previous review: 1 price increase and 3 price decreases.
Specifically, an average price increase was recorded for 1 kg of walnuts, which increased by 33 drams or 4.7%. Conversely, the average price decreases were noted for various products: cucumbers at 1 kg decreased by 33 drams or 4.1%, tomatoes at 1 kg decreased by 16 drams or 4.2%, and diesel fuel at 1 liter decreased by 10 drams or 2.9%.
The product markets where price changes were observed are predominantly controlled by economic operators in the walnut and diesel fuel sectors.
