Use of Force Threats by Azerbaijan Main Obstacle to Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict Resolution
Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan commented on the 26th anniversary of the ceasefire tripartite agreement.
“Today marks the 26th anniversary of the signing of the ceasefire agreement between Artsakh, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, which ended the military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the people of Artsakh. The agreement is indefinite; its unwavering implementation and the strengthening of the ceasefire regime, including through the realization of agreements reached with the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, is a key part of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
The use of force and threats of force by Azerbaijan, accompanied by a position rejecting compromises in negotiations, is the main obstacle to the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue,” she stated.
